| AC/DC, Judas Priest, And Jeff Beck | | I didn't watch the Grammies, but I just read where these guys took Best Hard Rock Performance, Best Metal Performance, and Best Rock Instrumental Performance respectively. How cool is that? See? You youngsters make fun of us 'old people' and our music, but I grew up listening to these guys and I'm still listening and they'restill rocking hard! (Rob Halford and I are the same age!) So I'm heading out on the highway. I've got nothing to lose at all.Oh yes... of course it's on the highway to hell. | |

| What song defines the metal? | | Today I was talking with a friend and he said to me, "I want to ask you a question, If somebody walked up to you and said, "I've never heard a metal song before, What is Metal? Play me a song." What song would you play?, that you feel best defines the genre?"So I decided to ask the same thing to you mylotters, what song would you play? I answered The trooper - Iron Maiden because that was the first metal song I heard a long time ago and my friend answered Breaking the law - Judas Priest. | |
| | Nostradamus: the new album | | Hello Friends!
Has anyone here bought the Judas Priest new album - Nostradamus? If so did you like it?
Personally, I feel Judas Priest has been able to maintain their standard even after all these years - unlike Metallica that seems to have deteriorated over the years (just my opinion).

| what are the best testament songs? | | what are the best testament songs? I am going to see them along with Judas Priest, Heaven and Hell and Motorhead tommorow. Unfortunately, I'm not that familiar with Testament. If anyone can recommend some of the best songs I would appreciate it. That way I can get acquainted with the band! | |
| | Masters of Metal! | | I'm excited, I am going to the August 10th show for the "Masters of Metal" tour. For those who do not know, the lineup is:Judas Priest
Heaven and Hell
Motorhead
TestamentNo doubt about it, it's going to be one of the best shows I've ever seen (still be second place to a show a few years back with Black Sabbath, Slayer and Judas Priest), but it got me thinking... If you only had 4 choices, which bands would make YOUR "Masters of Metal" list. Basically, your top 4 metal bands dream concert?

| Painkiller by Juads Priest | | Judas Priest published the album Painkiller in 1990. It was the last period of Rob Halford in the band (before the recent reunion). I think the first song of that album, the title track Painkiller, is really awesome. I think it is one of the greatest metal songs of all time. What's your opinion about that? | |
