| marie osmond's 18 yr. old son dies | | How sad - I just heard on the news tonight (2/27) that Marie Osmond's son committed suicide.I couldn't believe it, so I googled it, and sure enough - it did happen. How absolutely awful it must be to have your child die! | |
| | Danny & Marie Osmond: A Couple or Brother and Sister?? | | I just always felt weird about these to and I cant help asking the question. Now I knooow they grew up performing together and I knooow they have TONS of fans but isn't a bit strange that even as adults they still are stuck at the hip. Isn't normal at some point to want to break away from your family and do your own thing?? You this this with bands breaking apart and becoming solo or working on other projects, what is their schtick. I also saw them being interviewed on Larry King and it was like watching a married couple!! I see codependency while America sees America's Sweetheart but hey, if Woody Allen can marry his daughter--I just dont know. | |

| Is Marie Osmond A Better Singer or A Better Doll Designer? | | I am a big fan of Marie Osmond. I have loved Marie Osmond since I was a child from the old "Donny and Marie Show" in the 1970's. I still have some of her old vinyl records from the 70's. I have her cassette tapes from the 80's. I also have her Cd's from the 90's and currently 2008. Marie Osmond also designs dolls and frequently appears on the shopping channel as a guest promoting her dolls that she designs. My question is "Do you think Marie Osmond is a better singer or a better doll designer? Which one would you choose as the best career for her? | |
| | Marie Osmond - "I don't have to dance" | | I read a story about the DWTS finale last night that said that Marie was incapable of taking criticism. This was before I watched my tape, so I watched carefully and I think that it was right. After her utterly bizarre doll freestyle "dance" she was so vocal about disagreeing with the judges. Then when she was waiting for her scores she said something along the lines of "Why should I dance if I don't have to?" I think she knows exactly what's been keeping her on top. Personally, I hope it ends at the beginning of the show tonight. I think it really is time for her to go.Don't get me wrong, fans of Marie. I have enjoyed her more than I would have imagined on the show. It's just gotten a little old for me.What do you guys think about her verbal acknowledgement of the fact that she doesn't have to dance to advance on DWTS? | |

| Would you like to see Marie Osmond be a regular Host on the View? | | Marie Osmond is one of those personalities that I personally enjoy seeing on the TV. She was a host on the View this week and I would love to see her take Rose's place! In my opinion she is perfect for the job. She is not afraid to speak her mind she is funny, wise, motherly, career savvy, interesting and probably she has a lot of other things we dont' know about but would bring intrique to the show. Would anyone else out there love to see Marie Osmond hosts the view? | |

| | Just heard Marie Osmonds son commited suicide | | I can't even imagine how the family must feel, how he must have been feeling when he jumped,
this is really sad, I have a 19 year old son we almost lost in 2008 from a brain hemorhage it was
so scary. I didn't leave his side. But suicide is different, it's tragic that there isn't better, easier to
recieve help and treatment. Dealing with depression is one of the worst things ever, it's like your
mind over rides every action, takes over your normal thoughts, it runs your life. You have Nocontrol and though you know you need help, there comes a time during the worst part of your
depression that you haven't the strengh, or will power to get help. So you try to sleep as much
as possible to avoid the sadness, thoughts, everyday misery that cannot be stopped. Peoplejust don't have a clue who are not depressed, they might say they do, but unless you've been
there, you could never understand what it feels like... That bad thing is ask someones who ina serious depression how they feel and most would just throw out a word like sad, or miserable
but that's not even the start, it can't be explained no words can match the hell you feel, we need
to find better help, and... | |
