| Was there a real Partridge Family? | | The Partridge Family series was inspired by and loosely based on The
Cowsills, a real pop music family famous in the late Sixties. In fact,
in its early development, the Cowsill children were actually
approached by the producers to be featured on The Partridge Family,
though the children rejected the offer when they learned their real
life mother and band member Barbara would not be included in the cast. This was one of my favorite shows as a kid! Who was your favorite? Mine was David Cassidy, of course!!!
| | Brady Bunch Vs. Partridge Family | | As I continue my assault on television of the 60s and 70s, the next obvious comparison could only be this one. Keith Partridge or Greg Brady? Marcia Brady or Laurie Partridge? "Sunshine Day" or "Doesn't Somebody want to be Wanted?"I must admit, I've had a long time crush on David Cassidy. Much more so than Barry Williams, who played Greg Brady. Although Peter Brady got better with age. The scripts were equally hokie, perhaps the Brady Bunch a bit more so. But the Partridge's always ended with a song from David Cassidy. So, which do you prefer? Brady or Partridge and why. | |

Then, years later could you picture the kids now a days thinking they are cool? I showed my daughter who's 15 years old the Brady Bunch show and she said, "mom what where you thinking?" And, if you say you never really got into the show, then what are the names of the ppl on the show? How many can you name?
| | If you could live in any tv family which one would it be | | the 1950's was a great time for TV, kids were respectful and wives and husband's got along, okay maybe it was a fairytale and not reality but they shows had wholesome values, which is more than I can say for most of the tv programming of today. If I could live the tv life of of a show on tv,I would love to be Jane Wyatt in fathers knows best, I think that Robert Cummings was the greatest husband and dad. which show would love to live in and what person would you love to be in that show? | |

| Danny Bonaduce's wife files for divorce | | The wife of radio and TV host Danny Bonaduce has filed for divorce from the former "Partridge Family" child star after more than 16 years of marriage. The couple married December 6, 1990, and separated April 9.
Did you see this coming or did you feel after they would get back together? To my I am happy she has finally found the courage to break free, he has had a tight hold on her life and now she can be free to do as she wishes without being unhappy.
| | Who's the best TV mom? | | Who do you think the best TV mom is and why? I'm talking about in TV family shows like: The Cosby Show, Family Matters, Home Improvement, Roseanne, ect.
For me it's Clair (Phylicia Rashad) in The Cosby Show. When I was little watching that show I knew that is exactly the kind of woman and mother I wanted to be. She was confident, graceful, funny, smart, succesful, coy, and she knew just how to get what she wanted from her children. She was in love with her husband and was his rock. I think she defines the perfect mother - at least for me she does.

| | Who was your first famous crush? | | I am so embarrassed mine was Lief Garrett. You would think I would have better taste as a 13 year old although I don't feel too bad my best friend was in love with Donny Osmond.Yikes. | |
