| I AM SAM - Best movie soundtrack | | I believe that this movie 'I AM SAM' was the best movie that Sean Penn had ever portrayed. Actually this is my favorite drama movie of all time. Plus the fact that the characters on this movie are based on the songs of my favorite band 'The Beatles'.

| | What's Your Favorite Newer Band Of The Moment? | | (Just when you thought it might be safe, another "Favorites" discussion!) Okay; a lot of you that know me probably have heard me talking about Sammy Hagar at one time or another. The guy is without question my favorite singer. But I happened to get to meet these guys in person and was able to use a little influence to get them played on Sammy's Internet radio station (CaboWaboRadio). Let me introduce you to:[b]HEALING SIXES![/b] These guys have heavy influences of the Stones, Black Crowes, Bad Company and Led Zeppelin. (Note: Jason Bonham, son of legendary Led Zep drummer John Bonham, was with the band for a bit and played on one of their CD's.) I've been very impressed with their sound and song-writing skills, and am happy to say they sound just as good live as they do in the studio. A friend of mine was in the car with me the other day and I had my ipod on. It was just me and her without the kids so I wasnt paying attention to what was playing on my ipod. She and I are really good friends and have different tastes in music and movies but we dont let that hinder our friendship. Korn happend to be the next artist on my ipod and she was in total shock. She asked me why I would listen to such trash and said that she was very suprised that I would listen to hate music like this. She was also shocked at all the foul language on it. So I turned off the ipod and said I didnt mean to offend her. She said she wasnt offended but more less shocked because I wasnt a hateful person. The person she knew was sweet and caring and considerate of others. So she then started looking at what was on my ipod and started shaking her head. She just couldnt believe such a sweetheart like me could listen to this type of music....
Well I listen to all types of genere of music but I dont let the type of music I listen to define my personality....
