Talk about the intriguing world of Three Dog Night Vintage LP!| Three Dog Night | | Some of you are familiar with the antics of my dog Fred. He's a 5 year old pug/jackrussell mix and full of interesting ideas. Here's his latest. It's been quite cold here in Toronto for many weeks. Today is no exception, with the wind bringing the "feels like" temperature to about -15F. While we are almost comfortable in our 8th floor apartment, it is quite cool inside as well.Fred does not like to be cold. He will not go out to pee until it is absolutely necessary, then he will do it quickly and come right back in. At night, he sleeps under the covers at the foot of our bed. The mutt likes to be warm.Today, with the snow flying and the wind howling, he's taken a new step. He has managed to get the closet door open and drag down my winter down coat. He's done this before, so that isnt really the big feat. But this morning he has also managed to get down a box of old hats, mittens and scarves. The box is on it's side with the contents spilling out onto the coat. Fred has his head in the box, surrounded by soft accessories, as he lies wrapped inside the coat itself. I can't find my camera, or there'd be a photo for all of you to enjoy! So just imagine it. Brave and loyal... | |

| | 10,000 steps | | I was always one of those people that thought reaching 10,000 steps a day was impossible. I proved myself wrong yesterday. I had gotten one of those step counters from Avon. I decided to clip it on when I got up yesterday. Between all the walking around the house and the dog walks, I was able to get over 14,000 steps. I thought that was great. I have heard that if you can keep up the 10,000 steps daily then you would begin to lose weight. Well, here's hoping. Is anyone else doing this? Three dog walks a day go a long way to reaching my daily targets. | |
